Smilin' Jake

Jake got a new nickname this weekend "Smilin Jake". We went into Elmvale (a little town outside of Barrie) for the weekend to surprise my Nanny on her birthday. And boy she was definitely surprised. We had a great car ride both ways, Jake mostly slept. And Jake and I went to vist a few of Nanny's friends as she wanted to show him off and he smiled most of the time, despite missing a nap. Thus how he got his nickname.

I know it's been ages since my last post. It's been busy here with Jake crawling and the house not quite baby proof as of yet. So a lot of my day is chasing him to make sure he doesn't fall down the basement stairs or eat Jasper's food. Actually the latest thing I've had to pull out of his mouth is a piece of carpet. Yep. A piece of carpet I guess looked like some food for him.
