Goodbye my camera, Goodbye my friend

We all learn from our mistakes, don't we? We just all hope that it's not too costly. My camera got squished (mistake #1 - do not leave camera unprotected in the backseat of the car.) Josh and I figured that since the camestill worked and it was just the pain in the butt of having to use a pen to turn it on we could fix it ourselves. (Mistake #2 - Always seek professional help when it's a job way over your head) We actually managed to fix the problem however we created a new one when a random piece fell out. Josh was busy working on Jeremy's car and I decided since I had a semester of Electronic Engineering that I could fix it. I did know where the piece went at least. (mistake #3 - Just because you think you know how do do something doesn't mean you should attempt it.) Needless to say the camera didn't make it. Something about putting my finger accross 2 terminals and shorting the system out. I knew I was in trouble when the "shock" hit me and the burning smell definitely was not a good sign. Off to Future shop I went... Here are some pictures from my new camera.

When you fix one problem and create another, we like to call that a repeat customer
my lord Jen, you're going to have to tell me how you take such amazing pictures. I'm lucky if I can just get the darn camera to focus!
