Jake's First Camping Trip

Jen, Ren, and their 2 kids Elliot and Ashton, organized a camping weekend at Pog Lake Campground in Algonquin Park. We had so much fun! We were very late getting there on Friday night. We arrived close to midnight. We managed to set up the tent in the dark but not a whole lot else. Jake crashed in our bed sideways, giving Josh and I a restless sleep. On Saturday morning it rained for a while. Luckily Jake was tired and we managed to keep him in bed until the rain let up.

It was great to see all 3 kids get along so well. Jake's first experience of playing in the mud was interesting. The pants he wore never recovered :). My fault for thinking pale grey was a grat camping colour. As Jen informed me, navy blue is the way to go.

We went on a hike and swam at the beach. We slept great on Saturday night. Josh set up the play pen inside the tent to put Jake in. So much better. Too bad it rained on Sunday morning. We all packed up early and headed home.
