Birthdays: Cole (1) and Jamie (30)

Isn't Cole precious, eating the fruit off of his "healthy" b-day cake. I can't beleive he is 1 already. It's gonna be Jake's turn very soon...

Cole's mom Tracy and the b-day boy. It was a great day and the boys had so much fun crawling over each other and tumbling around.

Jake at this point is starting to show signs of his long day. It's about 6pm and he's missed all 3 of his naps. But he's still going. And we were heading out to Jamie's b-day next, so we had to drive from Bellscorners/Kanata all the way out to Forest Park just past embrun. So I was hoping he'd sleep on the way home. I think he may have caught a small cat nap, but at this point although he was tired he was still in a semi-good mood. For those of you who have seen Jake in action you know he is almost always smiling and in a happy mood. Well wehn we got to Jamie's I thought ok, we'll put him in his car seat and rock him and he'll be out. but nope. He was a party animal, just kept going and going and going. Crying one minute really happy and excited the next. I thought that maybe his teeth were bugging him, so I gave him some motrin, and that just made him more hyper. A little enrgizer bunny, just going and going and going and going.

Finally at around 1 AM, Leanne put him to sleep by rubbing his forehead, not hard to tell she's been there before. He's still catching up on sleep today.
