Feathered Friends
It seems that spring is ready to come in for a landing. Everywhere I look there are birds. These are some of the best shots I've taken this month.
This is a field down the road from us. Every few days we spot an enormous grouping of geese sitting there. I've never seen so many that close up before. It was crazy when they started to fly, they all took off together.
These are wild turkeys that we spotted on our road. We were driving so my shot isn't very clear. I had no idea how big and ugly these guys were. And it seems to me that they are making a comeback, for they were once on the endangered list.

Great shot of the turkeys in partial flight. And the geese taking off is great. It is very neat to see how they seem to do everything togeather, at the same time, but they can also make a great racket when they take off suddenly like that.
