What a 3 year old has to say to his Mother on her birthday
Jake, running into my room to wake me up: "Hi Mom, Happy Birthday!"
Me, groggy but smiling: "Thanks mister!"
Jake: "How old are you?"
Me, too sleepy to lie: "31"
Jake: BLANK STARE, BLINK BLINK.
Me: "That's a pretty big number, eh?"
Jake: "Yeah.... 5 is a big number too!"
Me: no longer smiling... yep I'm old.
