Bathroom makeover
On my to do list since we moved over 5 years ago, was redoing the bathroom. It was plain, white walled and the floor was old and grungy. So when my parents asked what I wanted for Christmas this year I was happy to ask for new flooring. I had fallen in love with the vinyl from their bathroom. Dad came and installed it a few weeks ago and I started the long process of painting and recaulking the room. I didn't want to replace the cabinets or the fixtures, and I didn't want to get too fancy with tiled floors or anything. I live in a little quaint country house and wanted to keep it quaint. I also didn't want to break the bank or my back for that matter. It really just needed a face lift.
The room was in shambles for a few weeks as I painted only when I managed to get the baby sleeping and Jake settled or when Josh was home to look after the boys. But here is the finished product and most of my old accessories still fit in the room. All wedding presents we got when we first moved in.
