New feats

Pics: A little reluctant with the crib idea, A new chew toy from Great Grandma Griese, Learning the trade from Dad.
It's amazing how many new things Jake picks up and how fast he masters them. When you put a new toy in front of him, he concentrates real hard to study it. He's also chewing everything now, and drooling, which makes me wonder if he's teething. I know it's a little early for that but not unheard of.
I've set up his room, (Whitney moved out last weekend) and Jake is now sleeping in his crib. He hasn't quite gotten the hang of it yet. He gets up every couple of hours still. I'm hoping he goes back to his normal routine of sleeping almost through the night soon. Poor Josh isn't used to him being upstairs.
Jake flips himself from his tummy onto his back ALL the time! Yet he still hates to be on his back so I have to flip[ him back over at least 3 or 4 times before he falls asleep at night. And I've caught him twice with an arm or a leg hanging out of the rails. And he sccots himself right up in a corner sometimes. Make sme wonder if it would be better to have bumper pads. I've heard thatthey aren't recommended and could cause a safety hazard. I'm worried that he's going to crack his head one of these times.
I have big plans for a mural in his room which will help to occupy a lot of my time in the next few months. I'm working on some pretty cool sketches and I'm very excited.
