Conversations about babies and bellies

We have been talking a lot with Jake about babies to get him ready for his two new cousins who are the way. We began by telling him that his Aunt Heidi was going to have a baby brother for Grace, and that would make him his cousin. We then got to tell him that Aunt Morgan had a baby in her belly as well. Every couple of days we'd remind him of what a good cousin he will be, and that good cousins share their toys, and pick up their dishes and wrappers after their done with them. You know, basically using cousinhood to get him to clean the house. 

Anyways... where I was going with this story is that Jake asked me the other night if I had a baby in my belly. (Now before you all get excited... NO I DO NOT) He looked up at me with wonder while I said "No, I don't." He thought about it a second and he looked up at me again "Then why do you have a fat belly then?" Thank God I have a sense of humour.
